This brand, then known as “TTT Trinidad” was first introduced to the U.S. Market in late 1997. A lengthy trademark dispute was finally resolved in June 2001 in favor of Diego Trinidad, heir of the Trinidad trademarks for the territory of the United States, allowing further production of the brand, which was taken over by Altadis USA in 2002. The natural wrapped blend offers a medium to full bodied taste with a Sumatra seed wrapper and Connecticut binder. Elegantly presented in boxes of 20, it is designed to garner the same respect as its name sake, originally produced in pre-revolutionary Cuba.
