| Originated in Cuba in 1840, the world-famous Punch brand is handmade in Honduras since 1969 from Cuban-seed tobaccos grown in Honduras, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. This range offers a magnificent, easy smoke with unsurpassed, full bodied taste and bouquet using Sumatra seed, Ecuadorian grown natural wrappers and Connecticut Broadleaf for the maduro wrapped shapes. The Champion was introduced in a unique promotion in 2001, chosen by the vote of smokers in a nationwide “Heavyweight” promotion by a 58-42% margin against an alternate blend. Most sizes are offered in boxes of 25, with the Cafe Royales (Glass Tubes) in 8s, Gustos (Tubed) in 20s and Rothschilds in boxes of 50. |

Grand Cru cigars are robust in taste, yet sweet with a marvelous bouquet, using Connecticut wrappers (Shade or Broadleaf), Connecticut Broadleaf binders and a three nation filler blend (an Ecuadorian grown, Sumatra seed wrapper is used on the No. II). The distinctive red centered band contains the words “Punch” and “Manuel Lopez” in gold, in and around a shield with a center white spot with the letters “JG,” and a black rim around the bottom of the band. Most sizes are offered in boxes of 20, with the Britania, Diademas and Superiores in 25s and the Prince Consorts in 10. |
