| Ernesto Perez-Carrillo started El Credito Cigars in Miami in 1968 and made his La Gloria Cubana brand one of the best known in the U.S. In 2008, General Cigar announced that production of La Gloria Cubana cigars in Miami will be ended in the coming years and that only a new line, the Artesanos de Miami, will be produced there. In development for almost six years, it debuted in mid- 2008, with production of only 250,000 cigars in total, by ten rollers. It’s medium-to-full in body and all sizes are offered in boxes of 25. |
